cell phone pics

My cell phone follows me most places but I don't love it for taking pictures. Normally cell pics are blurry and don't capture the feeling in the room. But sometimes a quick-draw phone photo comes in handy- when I see an unbearably cute kid or when I find myself having an exceptionally rare good hair day- both things that should be documented and cherished.

middle of winter

 My mood is always far too tied to the weather outside my window.   By February I am so over winter. So over it, but still enduring it for 2 (at least) more months.

The kids on the other hand, will happily take whatever the heavens bring them. They will be happy in a DC home, without a/c, in drippy 105 degree heat. They will be happy in Iowa with negative windchill that sneaks in through the microwave vent. Send natures worst upon them, and they will be relentlessly, persistently, happy.
