Here are the rest of the cell pictures that I stashed in my phone for the past year. Looking through them I miss DC- our friends, the cherry blossom festival, the warm, palatable winters, and the excitement of the city. Yet in many ways life is very much the same here in Iowa- the daily tasks we complete and the rhythm of our day is relatively unchanged. Where ever we are, when I am with my kids there are always pleasant discoveries and treasures to be found.

I panicked for a moment when I read the title of this post. I though perhaps you visited DC and we missed you. Beautiful pictures. I do hope we can see you sometime in the not-too-distant future.
