I'm 96% sure that this will be the week that Liam walks. He is able to stand up, unsupported, and when he does this I can see an excitement in his eye, like he knows he's on the verge of a new frontier. It's funny how as a parent we are always wishing for our kids to meet their next milestone. I feel like when he starts walking he wont be a baby anymore and so frankly a little part of me doesnt want him to walk. I found myself wishing he would fall back down, start crawling, agree to be a baby forever and forget about the entire almost-walking stunt.
Right now his favroite thing, word, toy, book page is "dog" When ever he sees one he lights up like he's caught Santa. He can say dog just fine but somehow insists upon calling his mother "that."
