Snake!!
This one's a story that dad needs to tell.
Yesterday Liam was eventually convinced to do his business where he's supposed to. After we all clapped and cheered for him (including himself), he hopped down and in a tone of equal parts surprise, glee, inquisitiveness, excitement, and self-satisfaction, he pointed at the little creation he had made and shouted "Snake! Look, Mom, Snake!! My snake! YAY!" Then he flushed his snake goodbye.
HAHAHA!!!
PS- Just to clarify- he wasn't talking about his anatomy. And sorry if these potty training tales are offensive to anybody. If it is you, might want to check back here AFTER he's good and potty trained :) I figure if you have to endure cleaning up after a potty-training kid, you might as well admit that sometimes things are hilarious.

Valentine's Day
For Valentine's Day we had a little kids party with about 10 kids 5 moms. (I love having a house for hosting) Liam loved having all the kids over and really got into decorating cookies(eating frosting) and now thinks he should have cookies at every meal. My mom makes killer sugar cookies so they're a bit of a comfort food tradition.
Happy Valentine's Day!
Potter Park Zoo
This week we had a heat wave, the snow melted and we went outside for the afternoon. The zoo is free during the winter. Liam was in heaven. He talked about seeing monkeys all day and when he finally saw them he was scared and wanted to be held because they were jumping at the glass and spooking him. He loved the lion and tiger and kept trying to convince me to let him pet them. Also I caught him trying to feed his cheezits to a fox. And of course he had to say "hi" and "bye" to each animal he saw. I don't know who had more fun Mom or Liam.
