I've already decided what I'll like about Iowa- the everyday.

I caught a glimpse of Iowa this last week. We walked through the house we will move our kids into, I talked with a Physical Therapy admissions adviser, met Brady's new boss, drove by our new church building, and even made a friend.  I found the perfect cocktail dress staring at me from a corner window, I discovered the best library I've ever seen, I shopped at a grocery store with mellow, earth-friendly vibes and from it I bought a perfectly baked blueberry scone.

Good things will happen in Iowa, I can just feel it.

To be loved

You can tell I am loved by the number of teacups, vases, and tiny jars I have perched around my house filled with hand plucked flowers.  Its spring time so my kids are busy bundling up flowers into tiny bouquets.  They present their pickings to me glowing with pride and ask me to smell them.  Regardless of if I'm holding a dandelion or a daffodil I hold the flower up to my nose and breathe in.  To me it smells heavenly, like the purest love.
