One last day

 

We had a spare lazy day in DC before we left for good. My kids chose to spend it at the beach.  We said goodbye to the East coast and found a fossilized shark tooth. Alayna went all Goldilocks and made friends with a Latin family- they let her take over their chair, eat their yogurt and drink their water.  Elsie and Liam waded in the waves until they were wrinkled and sunburned.

Karate Kid

 Liam by-passed yellow belt and went straight to orange.
