Elsie Maren Firth
We finally settled on a name for our little beauty! We took forever to name Liam too, and in both cases we ended up going with the one we started with from the beginning.
We love the name in and of itself, but both Elsie and Maren have significance that makes us love it even more.
Elsie is a short form of Elizabeth, which is a family name with long histories on both our sides. She's also named after her mom (Dani-ELLE L) and her grandma Leisa. The name means "God's promise".
Elsie was born on Grandma Marilyn's birthday! Maren is our way of giving her Grandma's name and a reminder of her exceptional roots. It also happens to be a family name on Brady's side from way back in Denmark (bonus points for Viking ties!)and means 'of the sea' It also happens to have a close tie to Mark.
Most of all, we think her name fits her best of the many we've been thinking on. We love you Elsie!
